We went to the store

And got more and more

and just when I thought we were going home
we went to another and got even more!
When we got home
we went to the backyard
immediately set up
we’re going to have fun!
Around dinner time,
we had a fire going
to keep us warm
Then we shot one off!
It was beautiful yet loud
but we would do anything
to rattle the crowd.
The more we shot off
the more we realized
we have to save some for midnight!
When midnight came,
the biggest one yet
Yelling happy New Year!
knowing we had a bright one
